News Happening over the Weekend.

On the Saturday and Sunday’s edition of Melissa Harris-Perry on MSNBC, her and guests discussed a documentary premiering on PBS today called Spies of Mississippi, taking a look at the Civil Rights Movement in a different way. They also discussed how the parents of Trayvon Martin and of Jordan Davis, whose murderer is currently on trial, have turned their personal tragedy of losing their sons into activism to end Stand Your Ground laws around the U.S. and to prevent another black son from being murdered due to his blackness.
